Reasons for raising ducks:
1.)  Ducks are resistant to diseases;
2.)  Ducks can survive from table scraps (low maintenance);
3.)  Lesser supervision is needed;
4.)  Short gestation period (prolific);

5.)  They are good source of meat and eggs;
6.)  Easy to raise and they are good pets.
